Bay Ship machinists are experts in all phases of shafting, bearing and shaft seal overhaul and repair. Our machine shop has an ABS-approved shaft welding process and the capacity to turn a 40-foot propeller shaft. We have all necessary shop equipment to precisely machine, cut, mill, broach and drill materials for all types of fabrication and repair needs.

Our metal working shop can manufacture and build a full range of steel and aluminum structures and shapes.  Shop equipment is in place to cut, bend, roll and break metal structures and parts for both marine and industrial applications. Our welders are ABS and USCG certified and work with all exotic metals, including stainless steel, copper, nickel and bronze.
