Alameda, CA, May 5, 2008 – Harbor Bay Maritime’s Bay Breeze returned to service March 24 th ferrying commuters weekdays between Harbor Bay Island/Alameda and San Francisco’s Ferry Building after a complete water jet refurbishment and routine preventative maintenance was conducted by Bay Ship & Yacht in Alameda, CA.

Commodore
January 10, 2008 – In December
Bay Ship & Yacht completed repairs to the Commodore, an 80’ wooden
dinner cruise boat built in Hawaii. The repairs were executed on dry
land in BSY’s efficient and modern Syncrolift transfer berthing
facility.

Bay Ship & Yacht Unveils New 1200 Ton Syncrolift® and Cements Position as One of San Francisco Bay Area's Premiere Shipyards
Alameda , CA – Bay Ship & Yacht announces the November planned completion date of the installation of a Syncrolift®, making [them] the only commercial shipyard in the Pacific Northwest to offer this lift and transfer system. Engineered by Rolls Royce Marine, the Syncrolift® will have a hoisting capacity of 1200 tons and will be used to transfer yachts and other sailing vessels measuring up to 200 feet from the water to a number of shore berths, maximizing land use and offering increased capacity.
