Bay Ship & Yacht Completes General Maintenance on Ulysses, Showcasing their Breadth of On-Site Services for Superyachts
 Alameda, CA, May 5, 2008 – Bay Ship & Yacht announces the completion of general maintenance to maximize the power and performance of Ulysses, a 192 foot black expedition luxury yacht built in 2003 by Trinity Yachts in New Orleans for New Zealand businessman and billionaire Graeme Hart.
The broad scope of maintenance work performed on the Ulysses is another prime example of the extensive range of services and attention-to-detail that have made Bay Ship & Yacht a premier shipyard destination for superyacht owners. Employing the attention to detail and high-end craftsmanship demanded by superyacht owners, Bay Ship & Yacht’s team of expert machinists, marine electricians, naval engineers and tradesmen conducted maintenance operations including: keel cooler maintenance; portable water tank cleaning; air conditioning pump refurbishment; removal, repair and installation of rudders; removal, repair and re-installation of forward and aft stabilizers; mechanical service maintenance and repair of seals, pump motors, engine and muffler; plus engineering services to document and draft repairs and finished maintenance to provide to Lloyds of London insurance.
All maintenance work was completed on-site at Bay Ship & Yacht’s Alameda waterfront location, utilizing many of Bay Ship & Yachts departments and services. Bay Ship & Yacht’s facilities include drydocking capabilities for large vessels up to 2800 Tons and 120 Meters (400 ft), a 1200 Ton and 61 Meter (200 ft) Syncrolift with berthing for multiple vessels ashore, a machine shop, fabrication shop, pipe shop, joinery shop, paint shop, propeller shop, and a full service naval architecture and marine engineering department.
